Volcanic activity forces eco holiday crash

Flights are still being disrupted as volcanic ash cloud continues to spew into the European skys.Due to the continuing volcanic eruption in Iceland, many flights have been cancelled and overall confidence in travelling abroad this summer has plummeted. Although refunds may be returned by airlines for flights not taken, there still remains the issue of the booking fees for hotels etc.Atlantic Parks have discussed this topic at length and they have decided to offer a special Volcano Disruption Deal.Because Atlantic Parks had more flight cancellations this week they decided to take positive action to counter this effect on our clients and their business. They have imposed a massive price crash of 50% as an incentive to travellers. When a holiday park is based in Spain and relies on the UK for the bulk of its bu mosquito repellent siness, an air travel problem is a big one. People are not only having flights cancelled but whole holidays too. And then there is a new issue over refunds. Now many people are now being faced with the possibility of not getting their money back from bookings. Atlantic Parks themselves are waiting for refunds from several flights with EasyJet; can they be absolutely, positively sure they will get them? Companies are now starting to look for ways not to pay clients’ back and that is bad for clients’ and for their confidence. As with most markets confidence is key and once its goes it is an uphill struggle to sell anything. We saw this last year with a lack of confidence in everything due to recession. Now that confidence has started to return we have another setback in the form of the Icelandic glacier volcano.
